Our Virginia Beach clients booked a 1/2 day inshore trip, and asked for snapper. 3 hours into the morning, and they were ready to head back to the dock. 

They filled the cooler with some very good tacos, but that is only a small part of our experience today. The young man pictured had a nice mangrove on, and as he reeled it to the surface next to the boat, a Cobia around 36"-40" came out of no where and engulfed his mangrove. I would never have believed it if I had heard it from someone else, but I was standing next to this young angler waiting to de-hook his fish and I had a front row seat to the entire thing. Its been an odd year. Water going from low 90's to mid 70's over night, to small fish kills and Cobia in the inlet.
