What a day we had out on the water in Sebastian, FL! The crew and I had the chance to take Jordan Petruska and their group out for a 4-Hour Sebastian Inshore Fishing Charter, and it was an absolute blast. April is such a sweet spot here on the Treasure Coast - the weather is starting to warm up, and the inshore species like Redfish, Snook, and Trout are really getting fired up and feeding aggressively. With a mix of clearing skies and early morning rain, the conditions were perfect for us to get out there and see what we could find.

As soon as we left the dock at 806 Indian River Dr and got our lines in the water, the action started heating up. We covered a lot of ground, working a mix of deep-sea, jigging, and kite fishing techniques to really dissect the area. It didn't take long before we started boating some beautiful Redfish, with a few fish over 30 inches putting up incredible fights. Our Virginia Beach clients booked a 1/2 day inshore trip, and asked for snapper. 3 hours into the morning, and they were ready to head back to the dock. 

They filled the cooler with some very good tacos, but that is only a small part of our experience today. The young man pictured had a nice mangrove on, and as he reeled it to the surface next to the boat, a Cobia around 36"-40" came out of no where and engulfed his mangrove. I would never have believed it if I had heard it from someone else, but I was standing next to this young angler waiting to de-hook his fish and I had a front row seat to the entire thing.
